My painting process is about building layers. I begin with colors, textures, acrylic inks, on the canvas, so the big white space is no longer intimidating. Then I follow with big blocks of colors and see how the painting starts to take shape. What will it be? I ask myself as I continue playing with forms, more colors, charcoal, chalk and mark making tools; in this process forms appear and the painting starts to manifest.
